Dayak to hold ‘Embracing Reality Forum’.

A business and Sosial political meeting entitled “Embracing Reality Forum” will be held on 17th December 2011 at Marriot Resort and Spa, Miri.

Organised by a group of Dayak entrepreneurs in the sprit of volunteerism headed by Edwin Banta, The forum is aimed at providing a venue for the Dayak business community to meet and network.

Land Development Minister Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing is expected to officiate the function.

“The forum is important to find ways to work together, to improve themselves through camaraderie synergies and having the insights of business opportunities and challenges and uncharted directions.

It said the Organiser had received overwhelming response from the Dayak community, and with limited seats it would be on a first come, first served basis.

Senior director of Stakeholder Management of TERAJU in the Prime Minister’s Department, Norizan Sharif, will be presenting a paper during the forum. PEMANDU, another unit in the Prime Minister’s Department will be represented by John Low, The Director responsible for palm oil, Rubber and agriculture.

Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development Datuk Joseph Entulu Belaun will also present a paper on Dayak sosio-political landscape. ( Question and Answer session with Datuk Joseph Entulu after a presentation by pemandu and Teraju ).

Golf is also part of the programme. ( Kelab Golf Miri on 18th December, Tee Off 0700pm ).
